Invasive Species Plant Management Specialist

We are looking for someone to join our Invasive Species Removal Team! Our Invasive Species Management Specialist will be responsible for the safe handling and application of herbicides specific for the control and eradication of invasive plants, this team member will be a part of projects around the mid-Atlantic region. For this position, you need to be able to identify invasive and native plants and have a technical knowledge of herbicides, pesticides, horticulture, and associated machinery and technology. Correspondingly, the successful candidate will work side-by-side with crews in order to meet or exceed reforestation and afforestation objectives as specified in the plan set and directed by the Production Manager

Job Requirements:

· Must be able to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator’s License with the state of Maryland
· Must be able to obtain reciprocity in multiple Mid-Atlantic States and districts, including Virginia
· Must hold a valid driver’s license and can obtain a DOT Motor Vehicle Certification
· Must have experience driving a truck with a trailer
