Maintenance Superintendent

We are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Superintendent to oversee and execute Stormwater Management (SWM) and maintenance projects across multiple job sites. This role is responsible for coordinating field operations, leading crews, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring successful project completion.
Duties

Manage daily on-site operations for multiple projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.

Coordinate with Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and owner representatives to communicate progress, requirements, and changes.

Plan personnel, equipment, and material needs to meet project deadlines.

Lead field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment operators; maintain strong team morale and productivity.

Ensure jobsite safety, including toolbox talks, safety inspections, proper equipment operation, and compliance with trench, traffic, and erosion control standards.

Maintain accurate job logs, service logs, redlines, photo documentation, and required reports.

Interpret and implement contract documents, project plans, and sequencing requirements.

Identify scope changes, potential conflicts, owner delays, and site conditions proactively.

Operate company vehicles and on-site equipment safely; conduct required pre- and post-trip inspections.

Attend project meetings, including preconstruction and progress reviews.

Support training, development, and performance of field team members.
Skills

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to operate large on-road vehicles, trucks with trailers, and heavy equipment; meet DOT requirements.

Ability to read and interpret project documents, plans, and digital files.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors year-round, and navigate varied terrain.

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ethical, professional communication with staff, subcontractors, owners, and the public.
