EQR Converts to Biodegradable Hydraulic Fluid on its Fleet of Excavators

Larry Lamborne, EQR’s heavy equipment manager states that “Our machines are running just fine, no additional repairs or issues. We just change the filters more often. With no complaints from our operators.”

The important thing to remember is that both biodegradability and non-toxicity are relative terms. Environmental friendliness does not mean the fluid is totally harmless to the environment and living things, only that it is less harmful than something else. This material does not contain any chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. If it enters soil, it will adsorb to soil particles and will not be mobile.

EQR commits to taking our environment and our work seriously. We also recycle on our job sites and in our offices.
