Tell us a little about yourself
My name is Andrew Sterling, I am originally from Jamaica, where I did construction for over 15 years and construction management for 13 years. I am happily married with 2 beautiful daughters.
What is your role at EQR?
I am a Construction Foreman.
What has been your favorite project at EQR?
3188 Jacqueline Drive T.O. 7 and 3285 WCJLI T.O. 20. (See pictures in slideshow)
What have you gained from working at EQR?
After doing vertical construction for over 15 years, working with EQR in a new environment has truly exposed me to different aspects of construction. I have gained a better love for the environment and how our construction affects and changes it in a positive way.
What is your proudest moment at EQR?
Completing 3285 WCJLI T.O. 20 before scheduled time and way under estimated budget.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
My hobbies outside of work are playing pool, soccer, swimming, gym and sports cars. Some of my hobbies can be evident throughout the company as I am the captain EQR’s soccer team.
What is your favorite place you’ve traveled to?
Back to my homeland, Jamaica. It is one of the most beautiful and exciting island in the West Indies
