Assistant Project Manager for Maintenance Department
Environmental Quality Resources (EQR) is seeking to hire an Assistant Project Manager to support and learn the role of Project Management within our Stormwater Maintenance Department. This fast-paced position provides exposure to project coordination, cost tracking, and the project management process for stormwater maintenance projects that improve water quality.
CDL (Class A) Driver
EQR's Operations Group is looking for responsible and motivated CDL (Class A) Driver(s) to join the EQR Team. Drivers pick up, deliver and unload essential materials and equipment to keep our projects moving. Drivers are important team members, allowing us to remain flexible and overcome logistical challenges of our work.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable transportation to get to the remote sites.
Must be able lift and carry 80 lbs.
Field Technician
We are looking for driven Field Technician(s) who are interested in supporting and learning the role of a Layout Foreperson. This is an excellent entry level position for those who enjoy being outside, are interested in construction field operations and like taking an active role in building projects to improve water quality.
General Laborer
EQR's Operations Group is looking for reliable General Laborer(s) to join our crews. The General Laborer is viewed as a vital team member performing work on a wide variety of projects. The position offers great opportunity to gain hands on experience in the field of environmental protection and restoration. The position can serve as a stepping stone to other company roles.
Heavy Equipment Mechanic
EQR's Operations Group is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to help further maintain our large fleet of heavy equipment. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic plays a key role performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our equipment to minimize impacts to production.
Invasive Plant Management Specialist
We are looking for someone to join our Invasive Species Removal Team! Responsible for the safe handling and application of herbicides specific for the control and eradication of invasive plants, this team member will be a part of projects around the mid-Atlantic region. For this position, you need to be able to identify invasive and native plants and have a technical knowledge of herbicides, pesticides, horticulture, and associated machinery and technology. Correspondingly, the successful candidate will work side-by-side with crews in order to meet or exceed reforestation and afforestation objectives as specified in the plan set and directed by the Production Manager.
Job Requirements:
· Must be able to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator’s License with the state of Maryland
· Must be able to obtain reciprocity in multiple Mid-Atlantic States and districts, including Virginia
· Must hold a valid driver’s license and can obtain a DOT Motor Vehicle Certification
· Must have experience driving a truck with a trailer
Layout Foreperson
Our Operations Group is looking for competent Layout Foreperson(s) to support our construction crews. Layout Foreperson perform an essential role in maintaining project quality and work closely with highly skilled operations personnel. The position offers an outstanding opportunity to learn the function and proper construction of numerous types of structures encountered in environmental construction.
Maintenance Foreperson
Our Maintenance Group is looking for motivated Maintenance Foreperson(s) to lead our teams performing maintenance and small repairs on various types of water quality facilities. In this position, you will perform field work while leading crews to successfully complete construction and maintenance projects. This role is responsible for managing daily operations at a single job site, coordinating with supervisors and project teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
Secondary Excavator Operator
We are looking for a Secondary Operator to join our Construction Department. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in various locations, including near streams and wetlands, while performing physical tasks to meet project specifications and ensuring safety. This position requires heavy lifting and working outdoors in all weather conditions and seasons. You must be able to operate and maintain equipment, perform pre/post trip inspections and checklists, and properly communicate with team members and management.
Requirements:.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· 2+ years of operating tracked excavators.
