EQR Employee Spotlight: Bryan Janney

Tell us a little about yourself

My name is Bryan Janney and I have worked for EQR for four and a half years.

What is your role at EQR

My role has recently been changed to a Superintendent which has been my goal since I started here.

What advice do you have for prospective EQR candidates?

Some advice that I would give to perspective EQR employees would be to ask a lot of questions and start learning what we do as quick as they can.

What do you like most about EQR?

What I like most about working here is the diverse jobs that we do. Every job is different then the one before so we aren’t doing the same thing everyday.

Colony Park Storm Water Ponds

What has been your favorite project at EQR?

My favorite project that I did was Colony Park which was two storm water ponds. The ponds had a lot of micro grading as well as rock structures that we built. This was the smoothest job that I have been on with a very minor punch list at the end. After the grass and landscaping had been established it turned out to be a nice looking job site.

What have you gained from working at EQR?

In my time working here I have learned a lot about the different designs and construction methods that we us.

What are your hobbies outside of work?

When I’m not at work I enjoy doing anything outside, hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking to name a few thing.
