EQR's Accounting Group is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to grow with our Team. Our ideal candidate is a detailed individual that wants to develop and learn new skills. This position has great growth potential to gain additional experience and take on other roles and responsibilities within the Group. 

Responsibilities include:

• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data

• Prepare bills, invoices

• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues

• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients

• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 1+ years accounts payable experience, previous knowledge of general ledger accounting and common accounting processes a plus

• Computer literate and proficient with data entry and spreadsheets

• Mathematically competent

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Deadline oriented and able to deliver high level of customer service to external and internal customers

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

• Experience with construction accounting software a plus (Viewpoint)

Pay Range: $22 - 25 / Hour
