Estimator
Our Estimating Group is looking for knowledgeable Estimator(s) to join our team. Estimators play a key role in securing new work for the company in the growing field of environmental restoration. The position offers the opportunity to work with a cohesive team of estimators, managers and operations personnel on bids and proposals for diverse design/build, build, full delivery, maintenance, and landscape projects.

Responsibilities include:

Complete and timely preparation of bids for public and private projects in accordance with company procedures.

Accurately identifying and quantifying material, equipment and personnel needed for project.

Obtaining quotes and proposals

Coordinating bid document preparation with contract administration and accounting staff.

Participating in transfer of estimate to field; and helping to maintain and update estimating software.
Qualifications:
-
Hardscape, construction or estimating experience.

Related degree or training may be substituted for some experience.

Excellent organization and communication skills.

Ability to work quickly and well under pressure. Ability to manage multiple assignments.

Computer literate.

A valid driver’s license. Estimator will be required to drive mostly within the Baltimore/ Washington Metropolitan area, and occasionally out of state for site visits.
