Our Estimating Group is looking for knowledgeable Estimator(s) to join our team. Estimators play a key role in securing new work for the company in the growing field of environmental restoration. The position offers the opportunity to work with a cohesive team of estimators, managers and operations personnel on bids and proposals for diverse design/build, build, full delivery, maintenance, and landscape projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Complete and timely preparation of bids for public and private projects in accordance with company procedures.

• Accurately identifying and quantifying material, equipment and personnel needed for project.

• Obtaining quotes and proposals

• Coordinating bid document preparation with contract administration and accounting staff.

• Participating in transfer of estimate to field; and helping to maintain and update estimating software. 

 

Qualifications:

• Hardscape, construction or estimating experience. 

• Related degree or training may be substituted for some experience. 

• Excellent organization and communication skills. 

• Ability to work quickly and well under pressure.  Ability to manage multiple assignments. 

• Computer literate.

• A valid driver’s license. Estimator will be required to drive mostly within the Baltimore/ Washington Metropolitan area, and occasionally out of state for site visits.
