Invasive Species Foreperson
EQR's Ecological Services Group is looking for conscientious Invasive Species Foreperson(s) to lead implementation of invasive species control plans on our planting and construction projects. Controlling invasive species is important to establishing native plant communities after construction or as part of revegetation of a site.
Responsibilities include:

Lead and implement invasive species control plans.

Client contact as required.

Mechanical and chemical control of non-native invasive plants.

Report progress on work orders using online reporting tools.
Qualifications:
-
1+ years of experience with control of non-native invasive plants.

Certified applicator license (preferred), or the ability to acquire within 3 months of start of work.

Must have excellent native plant identification skills.

Must be able to give and understand directions in English.

Must be able to read landscape planting plan sets.
-
Must have valid driver’s license.
Pay Range: $19 - 25 / Hour
Benefits include Health and Dental Insurance, Paid leave, 401(k), profit sharing and some transportation.
This position will be based in the Maryland/Northern Virginia area and will include local travel.
