Environmental Quality Resources (EQR) is seeking to hire an Assistant Project Manager to support and learn the role of Project Management within our Stormwater Maintenance Department. This fast-paced position provides exposure to project coordination, cost tracking, and the project management process for stormwater maintenance projects that improve water quality.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with project management of stormwater maintenance projects focused on improving water quality in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

• Support assigned Project Managers with coordination and implementation of maintenance activities.

• Assist in tracking project schedules, budgets, and progress.

• Help prepare and maintain monthly pay requisitions and project documentation.

• Collect and prepare Quality Assurance/Quality Control reports.

• Support compliance with contract requirements and project scopes of work.

• Coordinate with field staff and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• 1+ years of progressive experience in environmental services, construction, maintenance, or related field; government project experience a plus.

• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.

• Experience with project or construction accounting software (such as Viewpoint) is a plus.

​This position will be based in the Maryland/Northern Virginia area and will include local travel.
