
Safety Officer

Job description:
Overview
We are looking for a driven, dynamic safety professional that has excellent communication skills and displays solid time management to ensure deadlines are met, safety requirements are enforced, and jobs are completed safely.
Construction Safety Officer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Continuous inspection of project sites, to ensure a hazard-free environment.

Assessment and approval of in-house and subcontractor safety plans.

Collaborate with project managers, preparing construction health and safety plans.

Inspection of tools and safety equipment to ensure they comply with all safety standards.

Creating and enforcing safety guidelines and programs.
-
Conduct investigations into incidents. To be the first responder and direct liaison with all parties if an incident were to occur.

Verifying that all safety reports are submitted to related government institutions.

Attending project planning meetings and collaborating with project managers.
Job Type: Full-time
Experience:

OSHA: 2 years (Required)

Heavy Construction: 2 years (Required)
